New Years Eve

New Year's Eve is always an epic night in New England. No use in bringing the camera out with you - so I snapped a few quick photos post-going out with my friend Jhai, over some Ol'Fashion's and and Pimms.

Start with a beer... ignore the old sayings.

A Quick Selfie

A glass of Pimm's will always settle your stomach post-drinking a lot.

Jhai - an old friend from college always stays in touch with us. He's a wildly talented musician and a sharp dresser.

Jhai's watch and style mix tweed and scotch well.

Steff and I recently found this gem of a super 8 vintage camera at a second hand store. It's made it's way onto our fireplace mantel.

Pre-going out into the cold, we always make ol' fashions. It's a real mans drink - slightly sweet with a smooth aftertaste. It warms your soul but is quite refreshing. We always recommend huge "king's" ice cubes.

Our Ol'Fashion Recipe:
- Start with a sugar cub in an ol' fashion glass. I prefer one with a heavy base.
- Add a few drops of Angostura Bitters to the cube and smash with a spoon.
- Add 2oz. of a great burbon - I always perfer a slightly sweet one such as Angles Envy
- Add a cherry, some orange slices and muddle it together.
- Fill it with an oz. of water - and add one huge King's Ice Cube.
-For a holiday feel - add some nutmeg on top, and garnish with a cinnamon stick.
- Sit in front of your fire and enjoy your New Year's Eve.

The Finished Product
Enjoy your fire, and be a man.

Happy Holiday's from the Fiftals, and Anchor Wood!
